OFFENSE
The Valliant Bulldogs enter the season with a mix of returning talent and fresh faces. “We have a number of key players returning that will provide experience,” said head coach Joe Jones. “We also have a number of new additions to the team that will provide quality depth for the season.” The Bulldogs will employ a spread offense to maximize their offensive potential. Junior running back Kenny Golston (6-0, 210, Jr.) leads the charge, showcasing his powerful running style. The receiving corps features Ryker Prince (6-1, 180, Jr.) and versatile Auzy Trapp (5-10, 165, So.). “With the new classification and district realignment, we believe that we can compete for a playoff spot,” Jones emphasized. Quarterbacks Brody Dorries (6-0, 170, Jr.) and Ty Whigby (6-0, 170, Jr.) will be key players in executing the Bulldogs’ offensive strategy. The offensive line is anchored by Jaxon Jones (6-2, 240, Jr.). With four returning starters, the Bulldogs are poised for an exciting offensive season.
DEFENSE
The Bulldogs’ defense will be structured around a 4-2-5 alignment, emphasizing speed and playing tough. The Valliant defense is designed to be fast and physical, according to coach Jones. The defensive line is anchored by standout sophomore Kyng Golston (6-2, 245, So.), with support from Mason Stoneking (5-10, 185, Jr.) and Brayden Jones (6-2, 185, Sr.). Linebacker Gavin Chavez (6-2, 180, So.) will be a key player, bringing intensity and athleticism to the field. In the secondary, Tre Brown (5-9, 165, Sr.) provides reliable coverage and playmaking ability. “We have a number of players who are ready to step up and make significant contributions,” Jones noted. With four returning starters, the Bulldogs’ defense aims to set the tone each game.
