TISHOMINGO INDIANS

Coach: SCOTT O’HARA

4-6

OFFENSE

Tishomingo returns to the field with a renewed sense of purpose and focus on building a balanced and effective offense. “We would like to be balanced as much as possible on offense,” head coach Scott O’Hara said. The Indians will utilize multiple offensive sets, mainly 11 and 21 personnel, aiming for a balanced attack. Key offensive contributors include standout tight end Justin Purham (6-3, 185, Sr.), who led the team with 15 receptions for 400 yards last season. “Justin has been a team captain since his sophomore year. He has the ability to make any catch on the field and is a great leader with a positive attitude,” O’Hara noted. Quarterback Hudson Alexander (5-10, 180, Jr.) will lead the offense, supported by running back Terry Briscoe (5-8, 195, Sr.), and a strong offensive line featuring Colton Prince (6-3, 290, Jr.), Terrell Priddy (5-10, 170, Jr.) and Tyler Hall (6-0, 200, Jr.).

DEFENSE

Defensively, the Indians will operate out of a 3-4 base formation, with a focus on being multiple and attacking. The defense will be anchored by safety Baler Parish (5-7, 145, Sr.), who recorded 40 tackles last season, and linebacker Dylan Burton (6-0, 190, So.), who led the team in tackles before getting injured. Defensive end Dominique Davis (6-3, 205, Sr.) and outside linebacker Jonah Vanmeter (5-9, 165, Sr.) are expected to provide additional strength and leadership. Tyler Culp (5-7, 145, Jr.) and Kayson Todd (5-8, 150, Sr.) will bolster the secondary with their speed. With eight returning starters, the Indians’ defense is poised to be a formidable unit. The coaching staff includes Wes Thomas, Kyle LaFevers, Allan Plummer, Tim Burrough, and Jeff Alexander.
