HARTSHORNE LADY MINERS
GIRLS
Coach: DALANTE REDWAY
23-24 Record: 17-12
After finishing last season with a 17-12 record, the Hartshorne Lady Miners are poised to take it to the next level in the 2024 season. First-year head coach Dalante Redway has a vision for this talented group: compete for a state title. With two returning starters, several skilled role players, and some strong new transfers from McAlester High School, the Lady Miners are a team with both depth and ambition.
Key to their success this year is the experience and strength of standout forward Tori Kilburn (6-0, F, Sr.), a Southeastern Oklahoma State commit. Ranked among the top 30 players in Oklahoma’s senior class, Kilburn is expected to bring her double-double average from last season — an impressive 15 points and 11 rebounds per game — to bear on the Lady Miners’ journey. Tori isn’t just a strong presence on the court; her leadership experience as a key player in Pittsburg High School’s state championship team will add significant momentum to Hartshorne’s bid this season.
Hartshorne has a deep and talented roster. Senior Jayda Moore (5-5, PG, Sr.) is set to return to her role as a skilled floor general, helping direct plays and maintain tempo, while Katie Allen (5-8, SG, Sr.) and Lexis Vicars (5-9, F, Sr.) are strong perimeter and post threats, respectively. If last year with the Miners was any indication, Lexis is set for an explosive season. The Lady Miners also benefit from the defensive prowess of Gracie Wilson (5-10, F, Sr.), whose energy and hustle often create key plays in tight games.
Among the younger players, Ti Heiress Davis (5-8, CG, So.) stands out as a future star. A highly athletic guard with a reputation as a lockdown defender, Ti has already caught the attention of several Division II programs. Coach Redwayexpects her to make a big impact this season.
In a season filled with high hopes, the Lady Miners have the community’s support and Coach Redway’s belief in their ability to excel. Between the veteran leadership of Kilburn, Moore and Vicars, the upcoming star power of Davis, and the team’s strong lineup of role players like Reanna Williams (5-9, SF, So.), Addison Bernardi (5-8, SG, So.) Kaysen Semeski(5-4, SG, So.), Payton Vaughn (5-10, F, So.), Pyper Vinson (5-4, G, So.), Rylee Forehand (5-3, PG, Jr.), Jakadryn Bell (5-3, G, Jr.), Ciera Holt (5-11, C, Fr.), and Tatem White (5-9, F, Fr.), Hartshorne is primed to put forth an impressive campaign.
