ROFF TIGERS

Coach: ERIC HARDISON

15-17

Roff’s Lady Tigers have high expectations returning several important pieces from last year. “We lost four key seniors from last year’s squad. We have a strong group of seniors and look forward to some underclassmen stepping up and making some large contributions,” head coach Eric Hardison said. Emma Hardison (Sr., 3B) batted .506 last year and led the team with nine doubles, seven triples and 32 RBI. “She [Emma] leads by example,” coach Hardison said. “Tremendous worker that has put in her time. She is patient at the plate and has batted over .450 for her high school career. Solid in the field and leads our defense at third base.” Mallori Rogers (So., 2B/C) scored 32 runs on the same number of hits in her rookie varsity campaign. “Mallori did a tremendous job as a freshman in the field and on the mound,” Hardison said. “She works extremely hard and battles in everything she does. She brings a toughness to this group.” Sophie Eldred was responsible for the third-most hits on last year’s team while batting .404. “Sophie is a great kid that comes from a great family. She is a caring, compassionate kid that puts others first. She is mindful of other people and that is a good trait in young kids these days,” Hardison said. Keela Scott (Sr., CF) batted .324 last year and “is one of those kids that will do anything asked of her,” Hardison said. “She plays multiple positions and bats at various spots in the lineup. She is a selfless player that puts team goals ahead of her own.
