SASAKWA VIKINGS

Coach: CORKY SNODGRASS

8-4

OFFENSE

The Sasakwa Vikings enter the 2025 season with confidence and a roster filled with experience. Following an impressive 8-4 campaign and a playoff appearance, the Vikings return 16 starters from a squad powered by youth and resilience. Head coach Corky Snodgrass is looking to build off last season’s success. “We had a fantastic season last year finishing 8-4 and making the playoffs for the first time in a few years. The Vikings were led by a bunch of freshmen and sophomores,” said Snodgrass. Quarterback Thad Harjo (5-9, 156, So.) returns under center after a breakout freshman season, throwing for 1,900 yards and 27 touchdowns. He’ll be targeting Titan Collins (5-9, 160, Jr.), a dynamic receiver who racked up 1,004 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns last season, while also being named Class C District 4 MVP and All Little River Conference Receiver of the Year. Joining him is Darius Henderson (5-8, 160, Jr.), who tallied over 650 receiving yards and added nine touchdowns through the air and seven more on the ground. Out of the backfield, Titus Collins (5-9, 168, So.) and Joseph Lunn (5-8, 190, Jr.) provide a potent one-two punch. Lunn contributed seven rushing touchdowns while Titus added ten more. With eight returning starters on offense, the Vikings are poised to continue lighting up the scoreboard.

DEFENSE

The Vikings are just as tough on defense, returning eight starters to a unit that thrives on speed and playmaking. “Our defense plays fast and physical. We try to be aggressive and force turnovers. These guys fly to the football,” Snodgrass said. Joseph Lunn anchors the defense at linebacker, where he made 113 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and two sacks last year. Titus Collins added 67 tackles, 15 TFLs, and six sacks, while Titan Collins was a turnover machine in the secondary with 11 interceptions, including six returned for touchdowns. Darius Henderson and Braydon Lamb (5-10, 145, Jr.) round out a loaded secondary that excels in coverage and tackling.
