ADA AREA UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH – Presented by Ada Smile Place

Boys Basketball

TJ James – Ada

Standing six-foot-five, TJ has a strong inside presence. On the defensive end, he rebounds well and contests shots at the rim. He runs the floor well and can finish above the rim.

Gus Matthews – Allen

Gus is a very versatile forward who can play well inside or step out and shoot the three. He’s a strong rebounder and has good ball handling and passing skills, which makes him a very good all around basketball player.

Isaac Lewis – Davis

Isaac is a great kid and teammate that is always ready to do whatever it takes to help his team be successful.

Titus Collins – Sasakwa

Extremely athletic although a bit undersized at his position, Collins plays above his height. He is physical and also has a high motor and competitiveness.

Trevor Wood – Stratford

Sophomore guard who had a great summer and will be inserted in the starting lineup this season. He can do a little bit of everything, he’s a very well rounded player.

Cole Kirby – Sulphur

Cole is a very skilled point guard. He is a gritty defender and a guy on the offensive end that makes everyone better around him with his passing ability. He will continue to grow in the scoring category, but overall he is an outstanding player.

Brody Kemp – Wayne

Brody is an exceptional athlete that looks to make an immediate impact on the floor as a freshman.

Braylon Pierce – Wynnewood (Pic)

He is a great volume shooter and when he gets hot, it changes the entire game. Plays very hard and aggressive and was top three scorer last season as a freshman.

Girls Basketball

Kryslyn Stephens – Allen

Stephens came into her own during the summer and is looking to step into a more prominent role within the team. She will add length and rebounding as well as finishing around the rim and can also step out and shoot the three.

Montanna Carter – Davis

As a freshman, Carter is going to be a player that will make some noise this season. She has a solid set of skills and abilities.

Carlie Fogle – Paoli

Defensively, Carlie was a rim protector and made things difficult for opposing players in the paint as an eighth grader last season. Offensively, she played primarily back to the basket, but demonstrated the ability to step out and knock down the three ball late into the season.

Emma Hulbutta – Sasakwa

Emma is a sophomore and will look to influence the play on the court for Sasakwa.

Audra Watts – Wayne

A talented sophomore who scored 218 points as a freshman as well as 72 assists. She will look to carry that production over to this season.
