Kingston Redskins Football Preview – Presented by Stuteville Chevrolet of Durant

KINGSTON REDSKINS

Coach: BRAD HILL

10-2

OFFENSE

The Kingston Redskins are coming off a successful season and are eager to hit the field with a strong offense. “We are returning eight starters on offense and nine starters on defense from a 10-2 2023 season. We were district champions last year, falling to Alva in the second round of the playoffs,” head coach Brad Hill said. The offense will be led by quarterback Reid Patterson (5-11, 185, Jr.), with key contributions from wide receivers Sam Walker (6-4, 195, Sr.), Cash Walker (6-3, 170, Sr.) and Eli Oliger (6-0, 185, Sr.). “He is a great leader and student. Reid always does the ‘right thing’ and is one of the hardest workers in our program,” Hill said. Running backs Parks Ratzlaff (6-0, 190, Jr.) and Logan Stephens (5-9, 165, Jr.) will play pivotal roles. “We run a spread offense,” Hill explained. With eight returning starters, the Redskins aim to build on their previous success and have a productive offensive season.

DEFENSE

The Redskins’ defense will operate from a 3-4 base, focusing on speed and physicality. The defensive line features standout defensive end Isaac Hahn (6-4, 225, Sr.) and nose guard Blane Henry (6-2, 235, So.). “Isaac has a great motor, he never comes off of the field. He disrupts offenses with his length and size and is also very athletic,” Hill said. The linebacker corps is led by Brady Greene (5-10, 195, Sr.) and Ty Jones (6-1, 180, So.), both bringing intensity and experience. In the secondary, Brayden Ellisor (6-0, 170, Sr.) and Hudson Everhart (5-10, 170, Jr.) provide solid coverage. With nine returning starters, the Redskins’ defense is expected to set the tone for a successful season.
